Governo Lula anistia Vladimir Herzog e concede pensão à viúva Clarice Herzog.

Além do reconhecimento do jornalista como anistiado, a viúva de Herzog, Clarice Herzog, receberá uma pensão mensal vitalícia no valor de R$ 34.577,89. O pagamento decorre de decisão judicial da 2ª Vara Federal Cível da Seção Judiciária do Distrito Federal. A Comissão de Anistia já havia concedido a Clarice Herzog, em abril de 2024, a condição de anistiada política.
Reforçamos o compromisso do MDHC para garantir os direitos humanos, o respeito à vida, a democracia e o estado de direito – afirmou o ministério em nota divulgada.
Vladimir Herzog foi convocado pelo Exército para prestar depoimento sobre suas ligações com o Partido Comunista Brasileiro (PCB). No dia 25 de outubro de 1975, ele compareceu ao DOI-Codi e nunca mais foi visto com vida.
