Na manhã deste domingo (6), o governador de São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, recebeu no Palácio dos Bandeirantes o ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro e governadores aliados que participarão, ainda hoje, de uma manifestação na Avenida Paulista. O ato foi convocado por opositores do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e tem como principal pauta a defesa do projeto de anistia aos condenados pelos ataques de 8 de janeiro de 2023.
Segundo os organizadores do protesto, 116 autoridades confirmaram presença, incluindo governadores, senadores, deputados e vereadores. Entre os nomes confirmados estão os governadores Ronaldo Caiado (Goiás), Jorginho Melo (Santa Catarina), Romeu Zema (Minas Gerais) e Wilson Lima (Amazonas).
Tarcísio publicou nas redes sociais uma foto ao lado de Bolsonaro com a legenda: “Daqui a pouco, juntos na Paulista!”.

Já o governador do Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro, cancelou sua ida ao evento, justificando nas redes sociais que permaneceria no estado devido às fortes chuvas. “Eu já estava programado, mas, devido a todo o ocorrido no Rio, não tenho como sair nesse momento”, declarou em vídeo. Apesar da ausência, Castro manifestou apoio à proposta de anistia.
