O ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Alexandre de Moraes votou nesta terça-feira (21/10) pela reabertura da investigação que apura os crimes de organização criminosa e tentativa de abolição violenta do Estado Democrático de Direito contra o presidente do Partido Liberal (PL), Valdemar Costa Neto.
O voto de Moraes, no julgamento do núcleo 4 da trama golpista, relaciona a possibilidade de investigação de Valdemar a uma eventual condenação de Carlos Cesar Moretzsohn Rocha — engenheiro e presidente da empresa Voto Legal.
O ministro votou pela condenação de Rocha por dois dos cinco crimes imputados pela Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR).
“Uma vez configurada a condenação do réu Carlos Cesar Rocha, determino a extração de cópias da decisão e de todo o acervo probatório para remessa à PET 12100, a fim de que, nos termos do artigo 18 do Código Penal, seja reaberta a investigação e análise dos crimes de organização criminosa e tentativa de abolição violenta do Estado Democrático de Direito em relação ao presidente do PL, Valdemar Costa Neto”, disse Moraes.
