Durante entrevista ao programa Nem 8 Nem 80, da FM Mangabeira, conduzido pelo jornalista Ricardo Pina, a vereadora Jailma Carvalho (PSB) foi direta ao ser questionada sobre seu candidato a deputado estadual: “Tibério Limeira”, respondeu sem hesitar, em referência ao atual secretário de Administração do Estado da Paraíba.
Na conversa, a parlamentar também destacou sua atuação na CPI dos Combustíveis da Câmara Municipal de João Pessoa. Jailma reafirmou que não pretende recuar nas investigações e pediu que a população da Capital confie no trabalho da Comissão. “A CPI vai agir com toda autoridade para esclarecer o que for necessário e defender o interesse do povo”, garantiu.
Outro ponto abordado pela vereadora foi a situação das paradas de ônibus na cidade. Jailma cobrou da Prefeitura de João Pessoa a instalação de abrigos com padrão de qualidade também nos bairros periféricos. Segundo ela, o direito ao conforto e à segurança nos pontos de ônibus deve ser igual para todos os cidadãos, e não privilégio apenas das áreas centrais.
“A população da periferia também merece paradas dignas, com cobertura, iluminação e acessibilidade. É uma questão de respeito e de justiça urbana”, afirmou Jailma Carvalho.
