STF Mantém Denúncia Contra Deputados do PL Por Corrupção e Organização Criminosa.

A Primeira Turma do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) formou maioria, nesta quinta-feira (10), para rejeitar os recursos apresentados por dois deputados federais e um suplente do PL, denunciados por corrupção passiva e organização criminosa. Com a decisão, os parlamentares seguem como réus no processo.
Estão entre os alvos da ação penal os deputados Josimar Maranhãozinho (PL-MA), Pastor Gil (PL-MA) e o suplente Bosco Costa (PL-SE). Eles são acusados pela Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) de envolvimento em um esquema de cobrança de propina para a liberação de emendas parlamentares.
O julgamento ocorre em plenário virtual e foi iniciado na semana passada. Até agora, votaram contra os recursos os ministros Cristiano Zanin — relator do caso —, Alexandre de Moraes e Flávio Dino. Resta apenas o voto da ministra Cármen Lúcia, com previsão de encerramento da votação nesta sexta-feira (11).
Segundo o relator, os embargos de declaração apresentados pelas defesas têm o objetivo de rediscutir o mérito da decisão, o que não é permitido nesse tipo de recurso. “Os embargos de declaração não constituem meio processual adequado para a reforma do julgado, não sendo possível atribuir-lhes efeitos infringentes, salvo em situações excepcionais, o que não ocorre no caso em questão”, afirmou Zanin em seu voto.
Com a rejeição dos recursos, o processo seguirá para as próximas etapas, com a continuidade das investigações e eventual julgamento do mérito da ação penal.
