VÍDEO – TERRORISTA FORA DE CIRCULAÇÃO: Polícia Civil prende integrante do Estado Islâmico (ISIS) que planejava atentado em São Paulo.

Na última quarta-feira, 12, o Grupo Especial de Reação (GER) da Polícia Civil de São Paulo prendeu Matheus de Aguiar Avelino, de 24 anos, em frente à sua residência no bairro de São Rafael, em São Paulo.
Ele é acusado de terrorismo, posse ilegal de armas e tentativa de homicídio contra os agentes, a quem atacou com um punhal durante a captura.
A denúncia foi feita pelo próprio pai, preocupado com a radicalização islâmica do filho.
O pai ainda avisou às equipes policiais que o filho carregava consigo uma faca e que “certamente atacaria os agentes” na ação, iniciativa que se concretizou na abordagem policial. Porém, o criminoso foi imobilizado após ser atingido por um disparo de taser.
O terrorista estava planejando um atentado no qual queria “matar muitos ricos, poderosos, governantes e militares”, cujo desfecho seria uma “morte muito violenta, como a de um mártir”, segundo um diário encontrado na casa.
Em sua casa, a polícia apreendeu um arsenal que incluía munições calibre 12, rifles artesanais, duas bestas com flechas, facas, punhais, dois exemplares do Alcorão e bandeiras do Estado Islâmico (ISIS).
No interrogatório, Matheus confessou ter se convertido ao islamismo em outubro de 2022 e declarou que planejava um atentado contra uma sede da Polícia Federal em São Paulo.
