Em seu livro “Assassinato de Reputações: Um Crime de Estado”, publicado em 2013, o ex-Secretário Nacional de Justiça Romeu Tuma Júnior fez uma revelação polêmica: segundo ele, o ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva teria atuado como informante do Departamento de Ordem Política e Social (Dops) durante a ditadura militar, utilizando o codinome “Barba”.
Tuma Júnior, filho do ex-delegado do Dops Romeu Tuma, afirma que Lula colaborava com seu pai, fornecendo informações enquanto atuava como líder sindical.
