O presidente da CCJ do Senado e futuro Presidente do Senado e do Congresso Nacional o Senador Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), afirmou que a chance de pautar pedidos de impeachment contra ministros do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) é “zero”.
A declaração reforça a resistência do Senado em levar adiante essas iniciativas, apesar da pressão de setores políticos insatisfeitos com decisões da Corte.
Alcolumbre defende a estabilidade institucional e a independência entre os Poderes, enquanto opositores do STF argumentam que há interferências indevidas do Judiciário.
